Yeah right, I doubt it! I don't even care if it has the box, it's not like I'm gonna get it for collecting! And Cris is not well known for being nice to his toys! I just don't want to get one that 'looks' used. If the animals are gonna have missing ears, tails, or legs, I would like that to be because of him!

oh yeah, one more thing - I'll be putting a ton of stuff on ebay in a short while - I got way too much "stuff"

Best month I had on ebay was one month I cleared (not gross, net) 800 bucks. That was selling lead molds (you know, like soldiers, civil war figures, fantasy figure mold, etc...)

I didn't work that hard at it, actually. I did maybe two or three hours a week - including shipping and taking pics and setting up auctions.

Now that I have more time, maybe I can make a bit more at it.

beats the heck out of having a real job.

Ok, I'm awake - I'm wet - I have a stiff neck from falling asleep in a chair last night - and I need more room for chickens

Poor Spazz is hiding out in the barn, afraid to run the gauntlet. Cinnabon got chased all the way to the garage, then George kicked some major booty on Roscoe.

I let the bachelors out this morning - last time I did this, I had no trouble. I should have figured on trouble when Roscoe went after Hoss!!! Poor Hoss, took him by surprize. Then Roscoe turned his attentions to the other Spitz, and that one ran for cover. Roscoe just seems to be in an insane mood today - not sure if it's the weather, or Splat being taken out of the coop, but he is having a hissy fit all over everyone (George backed him down, nicely, though). George ignored them last time - only reason he got into it this time is that Roscoe was chasing his woman - that's a no-no.

I think they've all got cabin fever

and it isn't even that bad out yet. I'll leave the bachelors out to get some "fresh air" today, maybe that'll cool Roscoe down.

I'd love to be able to let them all out to free-range, but it isn't possible (not yet, anyway). The cochin bantams, I think wouldn't want to be out today anyhow

it is pretty icky out there. Of course the layers and George insisted on it, so I let them out, they are currently all (except Spazz) huddled together in the garage, trying to stay dry. The guineas are even being polite so they can huddle with the rest of them. The bachelors are huddled behind the metal shed

- not exactly water proof or wind proof.

Spazz probably has the best room on the farm right now - the barn is dry and pretty cozy, actually. (well, best room as far as critters go)

Speckles and Rudy looked like they weren't happy with each other this morning, either, so since the bachelors are out for the day, I put Specks into the bachelor pen by himself.

you're right, Cindy, he isn't easy to catch - even in the 8x8 coop I had to chase him around a few times. He is a heavy chicken, too!!

Well, I hope Roscoe doesn't cause a fuss out there all day, I'll have to go try to catch his stoopid butt and pen him up someplace if he does. That won't be easy.

Well, gonna catch up on some BYC.

Yeah George should be pretty good at putting them in their places. Dad told me the other day that Charlie, the big sissy that runs from the bantie roos, was fighting one of his big SLW roos and winning!! I wonder what brought that on? He said Charlie was winning and then chickened out and ran away. Silly boy! Oh and I think I figured out what type of game he is. I was told he looks like a jungle fowl, which he certainly does, I was kinda hoping I was wrong, since all the hens are american game, but oh well! He is still pretty, but I guess now I need to find some jungle fowl hens! And an ameerican game roo! I really don't want that many game roos running around, but a bunch of mixed birds will do me no good either.

About the farm, I had thought about piecing the set together, but with shipping and everything I think it would be cheaper to buy the whole set. But if I use paypal and priority mail, I could get one as late as the 15th and still get it by Christmas.

Hey Cindy, guess what? That little chick that you wanted until you figured out it was a boy is crowing already!! He has been for about a week. He is not any older than 8 or 9 weeks! So cute! But he is definitely crowing!

I poked my head out earlier, and heard nothing, so I'm assuming everyone is behaving themselves.

I should be cleaning my hatcher room, and getting the tank set up, but it is so icky outside, I don't feel like doing anything - well, at least my dishes are done and the house is reasonably clean, so I don't have to feel guilty about that

.

I know once I get the table over here, I'll be inspired to get going on the room - but shoot, it's rainy and cold and windy out there - I don't wanna go outside!!!!

Oh, and I have a book to read, too (have had it awhile, haven't had a chance to read it) it's about the Culdees, and it looks like it might be a good book.

Oh, Shelley - I had an idea last night, btw....

I'm gonna make some little "bird houses" for the nesting boxes for the quail. Not really bird houses, but make the little nest boxes to look like houses. Hard to explain, I'll take a pic when I make one and put it on here so you can see.

Too icky out to be cutting wood with power tools, so it'll have to wait for a nicer day
