Well, the haunted house one is in pretty good shape, the guy that owns it lets the 'field hand' live there while he is working. My brother used to work for the guy, that's how I know it's haunted

It is in pretty good shape, besides the fact that it is so old it doesn't have indoor plumbing. Someone (I think my brother) added a 'bathroom' with a toilet and tub, but that is the only place in the house that has actual 'running' water. There is a water spicket in the kitchen for water, I guess if you wanted to wash the dishes, you'd have to heat it on the stove. But it is a HUGE house!! There are 4 massive rooms on the ground floor, and the 'bathroom', then the second floor has 4 or 5 bedrooms. Plus there is a full attic (with a 'secret' entrance and exit). Supposedly the house was part of the underground railroad. There are still shackles hooked to the walls in the attic, last I knew.
Now the other house is in a bit worse condition. It's the one that was struck by a tornado. The part that got hit is the kitchen, I think, and for the rest of the house, I have no idea what shape it's in, I've never been in it. I would say it's not that good. My brother moved here about 15 years ago, and as far as I know there hasn't been anyone living in that house the whole time.

Saw an ad on craigslist this weekend for Great Pyrenes puppies for $100.00. They have both parents on the property on their farm.

I appreciate the suggestions on the land areas, I am still looking into financing options as well. I have to find someplace that I can also use my VA eligibility certificate to help finance the place.

Right now I have to refocus on getting the stupid car fixed though.

I see that I am not the only one that watchs craigs list. That is where I have found most of the chickens I have. I check it daily and if I miss a day I will go back. If there is a picture of an animal I always look.

I've never been able to get that to work, because I refuse to set up outlook expres on my computer. You have to go through the outlook express setup, then it'll do your email for ya.

Yeah that's what stinks. All the ones I was interested in only had email. There is someone here in KY that has BC Marans, and I wanted to see what they looked like. Oh well. Plus there were a lot of rabbit/guinea pig cages...those would be perfect for the quail. But no phone#

Meri - I called the number on that pen you PM'd me about but no one was home so left message, have they e-mailed you back yet?

Cindy who is getting ready to go get some hose to run to the coops/runs.

Poor Shelley: Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, I'm gonna eat some woorrrmms....Fat ones, skinny, little itty bitty ones, big and juicy woorrrmmss...

Shellyd, what county are you in. If ever I get to sell this house I would like to have a farm. My father grew up in a house that had a murder and a suicied in it and told all his kinfolk it was haunted.

Old houses have animal burrows all under them so strange noises are common. also, holes open up and wind blows through. Grandma found a barn owl dead in the attic which had gotten in and couldn't find a way out and kept flying into the attic window. Talk about strange noises in the night.
