I don't know what his deal was today! After his tantrum when we were leaving your house, he fell asleep on the way home. Once we got home he was the sweetest kid??? He must have been feeling guilty for something!

Oh, and thanks for helping me get that farm

He just loves it!! He plays with it everyday, and tells me whenever he is playing with it how much he likes it!

Oh yeah, there's a bottle of orange Fanta in your blazer, I forgot to grab it! And Cris was a little bummed that he forgot those 'eggs' and his 'peanuts' as he called them. I think he left them on your porch. Poor baby

I told him we'd see you again, and we'd get them next time we were there, or you were here, whichever is first.


Oh, btw, I won the lakenvelder eggs!!

I don't have enough on my paypal atm, (bank was closed), but Julie (aka The Farmers Wife) is going to go ahead and ship them for me!!

ETA: Good thikng my new hova was here when I got home! That stupid cage still didn't come!!

I wonder if those 'molted' cochins are maybe mixed too much? I wonder if that's possible? I know if you breed splash to splash too many times, eventually they get washed out? Another question for the genetics geeks!

I was just checking out the farmers wife's website, and I got those lakenvelders eggs for cheaper than what she sells them for, so I guess I didn't do too bad!

Well, Dumpling is sitting on my shoulder right now (hard to type when she is trying to sit on my arm).

she slept on my chest as we cruised ebay looking at chicken stuff

Hubby says she has to go out as soon as she can. I been looking at Chicken Diaper patterns, myself

This morning she purposely dumped her food and water having a hissy fit cause I fed and watered her and didn't take her out. When I got back from taking Jon to work, she sat in there crying at me, as loudly as possible. Once I got her out to sit with me, she is happy as a clam.

Does this mean I've slipped into the grey area of "Crazy Chicken Lady" ?

Hey Meri Shady Lane Farms has dels...You should have ordered there it's just in Monticello about a half hour from me. They're pretty too. I keep forgetting about that hatchery, they have some nice birds.

ETA: And they're listed under their exhibitiom breeds


OH Nevermind Duh!!!!! I got them mixed up with that Gamebird hatchery in Monticello til I got to wondering why the listing was different.

I need more coffee!!!
