Oh, of the three chickies I had in the garage for heat related issues, I lost one of them (the worst off one) this morning. Poor thing just didn't recover.
The other two look good, almost ready to put them back into the coop. One of them is one of my young barred rock pullets - I definately didn't want to lose her, she is looking very perky (and getting that naughty look back into her eyes) so I am sure she's gonna pull through.
I just cannot believe this heat so early in the year - doesn't it usually hold off on this nasty heat until late July or something??? I thought I had more time to make my summer adjustments to the coops (like the screen doors that need repairs).
Well, it still beats the heck out of Michigan Winters.
