Kentucky people

tomlinson Hi there... I am pretty new too. I have one son (8) who is being homeschooled and one son (13) who unfortunatly is not. (my ex husband is against homeschooling ) I have a daughter who is only 2 but she will be homeschooled as well. We have 5 white Marans, 3 Salmon Faverolles and two black Jersey Giants. Glad to meet ya!
God bless
Julie

Where are you located? I was thinking of getting some baby geese from a hatchery, but can't afford the whole order myself. However, I have a contact that is supposed to have some goslings in a few weeks, said he'll charge me $2 each on them. If he has a lot, I'm getting a lot, so I should have plenty then

Otherwise, I'd be interested in splitting an order with you, if that's an option

I have sold many pairs of hatchery stock for 20-25 in the past. These are not hatchery stock...I may not have been clear in my post.

I would be very interested in seeing some pics of your Mille Fluer "Cochins" I would be interested in purchasing some at that price myself.

Most people assume I mean Mille Fleur Duccle when they first read or hear about them.....Not Duccle but cochins are what I have. They are a hard to find cochin color and are still in the works as far as breeding goes. They have not been perfected yet. Show quality cochins sell for 85-100 each quite often.

I sold the Mille Fluer Cochin pair yesterday as a matter of fact.

I was not offended by your post...just justifying my prices....

That is a good price on your Jersey's too considering it takes so long for them to mature. These are out of show stock as well.

I'm in London Kentucky at this very moment having driven 11 hours from Canada today. On my way to deliver my daughter to Sanibel Florida. What a beautiful state you have. These purple trees along the highway, are they redbud trees?

Yep...they're everywhere and gorgeous!

Thought so. I have one at home but it is in a sheltered spot. I wonder if we used to have them wild like that. On to Vanosta Georgia! By the way, if any of you Kentuckians ever have guests that need to stay at a hotel, this Hampton Inn off exit 38 is wonderful. Very quiet and the beds are dreamy. Nice staff too.
