Are there any swaps this Labor Day weekend? There were 3 last weekend but I got off work too late at night to go the next morning. I need young LF layers or point of lay pullets for my egg customers.

The Trimble County Swapmeet is this weekend, Sat and Sunday at the Milton City Park Milton Ky 40045. Plenty of shade and water and restrooms. They usually have all sorts of fowl,goats,rabbits and other small animals and some other stuff too. I have to work Saturday but may go to the swap Sunday for a while.

Thank goodness I get off work 12:30am this Friday. We've been getting home at 4:00am the past couple of weeks and all we do on Saturday is sleep until late afternoon.

Not so good for hitting the swaps.

I don't think I have any chicks, just older birds. Been slacking on the hatching and setting them every other week....do have a few blues hatching today though, not sure how they made it in the bator and a duckling was in the bottom of the incubator the other week. the new baby has everyone slacking.
