Yup labo, it's officially winter. Powell Co closed school today. Grrr.

Hi everyone.... Been a while with a world of trubble in between... Hubby and I are now working (outside the home).... I'm getting over a predator killing 75% of my girls....

I need egg layers..... I've got a couple of laying hens but am only getting a couple of eggs a day....

The nasty dog down the street has been helping himself to some fresh food from my barnyard about 1 or 2 a month.... Thursday he took off my beautiful and most waited for white midget tom which was about 14 pounds.... I was so looking forward to seeing if I could get my pair to breed....

My kids love the colored eggs and all of my Aracuna's are now gone.... Anyone got any they would like to get rid of??? I have plenty of roosters... for some reason the dog and the racoon leave the boys alone....

My son got two pot bellied pigs at the end of August and they have been great entertainment for the whole family.... They took to the litter box right away... loved that....

So sorry about your girls!!! I'm picking up some birds from the Turbos (Foleys) this weekend. Maybe during Christmas/New Year's week we can get together. I have some olive eggers that just started laying 2 months ago and about 10 two year old gl wyandottes if you're interested...

oh no..... we don't have anymore.. gave them all away and before we did we placed RV in a class of about 130 bantam wyandottes. The guy that got them has been kicking butt with them at the shows. Those roosters are mean.
put an ad in craigslist for free chickens..... or make soup.
Well, I think your GLWs have a clean bill of health so I am moving them to the barn where it is warmer. You can check out my new breeding pens in the barn.
