What kind of geese do you have Jeremy? I found our first goose egg yesterday too, I was so excited!! Until I remembered how bad a time I had hatching them last year...now I want to put it back

I can't figure out who laid the egg, none of them seem to have egg bellies? It kinda looks like the 1 toulouse does, but I could swear that one is a gander! Guess I'll wait til tomorrow and see who goes into the 'nest'...maybe that will help. Though, come to think of it, when I saw them in the area yesterday, it seems like there were 3 of them in there. They just want to be confusing

Side note: Does anyone have any female geese? Preferably embdens, since my goal is to have just embdens. I have 5 embdens and 1 toulouse, I know I have 2 embden girls and I'm pretty sure all the rest of the geese are boys.

The incubator is a hatchrite. It is a big one that people bought for ostrich eggs when they were hot. It has 2 separate incubators built into it so we can put chicken eggs in one and the call duck eggs in another.

The cops got the neighbor today...

maybe he will learn to keep his hands to himself.

Unfortunately, he probably won't stay there long. Idk how Kentucky is, but I know my ex in IN would be lucky to stay in jail overnight when he'd beat me up

I do know he doesn't have bail money and he is also doing drugs..... he can't come back home because of the EPO.

this is the same neighbor that likes to shoot his gun off his back deck when my kids are down range. I called the cops on him 2Xs over that and finally got a letter sent from the county attorney telling him if he does it again he will be arrested.

What a jerk! It's terrible when you have "lovely" neighbors like that. So Sorry! Sure hope they keep him for a while.
