Kentucky people

I had 8 Black Copper Marans chicks hatch today if anyone is interested. I'm going to list them in the chicks auction forum tomorrow once I get pics if there aren't any takers. If you want 1, please take all 8! I've got 3 different groups of 1-2 BCM chicks because I've thought people were going to take all the hatchlings and ended up taking 1-2.

I've also got a few that are a week old. I believe there are 4 in that group.

Is anyone going to the Scottsville Mennointe Sale this weekend,April 2nd? Its supposed to rain but it usually does at this one!lolUsually has tons of birds and small critters.

I'd like to but there is a poultry show in Madisonville this weekend. My ride is going there, so looks like that's where I'm going too

I hope, if you're selling, stuff brings better prices than it did at the Casey Co. Mennonite sale. I won't take chickens there again...I would have done just as good (if not better) at Sano...plus the commission would have been less.

We'll be driving down from Etown for it, if only for the experience, as we haven't ever been down that way yet.

Does anyone know if it's 100% auction, or are there booths/tables to just straight-up buy certain birds/animals that we like?

If it's anything like the one in Casey Co. I'd say it's just an auction.

scottsville does have booths for selling. I have set up several times in the past..booth fee plus commision. Lots of plants and antiques/collectibles.
