Kentucky people

Hello again everyone,
I haven't been on here in forever. Since then I have gotten pregnant and had a baby (who's about to turn 1)! Anyway, I had four of my chickens die because they jumped a six foot fence into the neighbor's yard and the neighbor has a dog.... So I ordered another batch this year. We had to order ten and I had a friend who took four of them but unfortunately they also sent us an extra which naturally is a roo. He is an easter egger and is 8 weeks old. He has recently started crowing and I don't want the neighbors to get upset. My husband said we have to get rid of him and if I can't find him a home we'll just have to kill him. He seems too small to eat and it just seems so cruel to kill him for no reason so I thought as a last ditch effort I'd post on here to see if anyone would be interested in him. If you are I can post a pic later (I haven't taken a recent one but it would only take me a few minutes as long as the baby's asleep). Anyway, if anyone would want him let me know, otherwise my husband is literally taking matters into his own hands.
Thanks!

congrats on the new baby.make sure you also post this in the for sale forum so everyone on here sees it.good luck,i hope you find him a good home...roosters sure do get the raw end of the deal.i feel bad for them.its a shame we cant keep all our roosters.

Ok so in looking at putting in an order and the expense I asked Dev to give me a list of alternates. Thankfully at one time he wrote out a huge list of all the types he was wanting. He had the idea of getting a couple dozen chicks for christmas. lol If anyone has a frizzle, houdan, or a unique polish. We have one super aggresive bantam rooster so if its male would have to be tame enough to be treated like a semi indoor pet. Could free range with the other littles during the day but I would not lock up in bantam coop with the others at night. Really prefer females because they do not lose their sanity when they hit chicken puberty. I am going to keep an eye out and try to find him something special.

I put that on there as a joke (obviously) but watching the news last night I was horrified to hear of a young woman trying to sell her 3 day old baby at Taco Bell for $500. Made me want to cry.
