Hi Everyone
I was hoping someone may be able to help me with some information. I live in New York. My sister lives in Hardin County, Kentucky. Does anyone know where she could find Silkies for sale near her area? I would appreciate any information anyone can share with me. Thank you in advance.

I'm not exactly sure where Hardin Co. is in relation to me (Adair Co.), but I don't think it's too far. I have a pair of 'sizzles' if your sister is interested. The male is a buff silkie and the female is a partridge (could be blue partridge) sizzle. A sizzle is a cochin/silkie cross or a frizzled silkie...this one has all the features of a silkie so I would say it's a frizzled silkie (pure). 50% of the chicks from this pairing would be frizzled, the other 50% would be 'normal' silkies. The frizzled silkie has silkie feathering that 'curls' around her neck and on her wings.

Other than those I have only 1 blue silkie cockerel (no pics).

ETA: Neither of these birds are from my flock. The buff came from cthrash1, I believe she hatched him from a breeder in TN. The other came from a breeder in SC or NC (renegaderidgefarm), I always get the 2 confused!
