Not sure about Tewes but I just had 24 cornish X processed at Central Kentucky Custom Meats near Liberty KY and am very happy. They process USDA so you can actually sell your extra birds at a farmers market if you want. Price seemed good $3 to do a whole chicken, air chilled and vacuum sealed and labeled.

Yeah I sent them a email. Not sure what they have. I'm looking for a good larger breed for meat a( not the Cornish x) and maybe some more layers. I had a silkie rir cross but it had something wrong with it and died young. I know a guy with some rir/silkie crosses I'm trying to convince selling me one. My wife is wanting a showgirl and I just want a hen that will sit on eggs lol. My cousin got a silkie and it seems to do good as far as going Broody. I currently have 5 hens and 1 roo all barred rocks. I lost a few in the last month or so. ( had 9 total) I am also noticing a major decrease in egg production. I think there laying in my neighbors shed. Not sure. Might have to shut the door and lock them in the tractor for a few days. Show them where home is again.... Ok now I'm rambling on and on. Anyways I'm trying to find a hatchery that dosnt have a min on the order. I. Wanted to order a few chicks in the past and I placed a order and they wanted a min order of 25. Anyone know of a reasonably priced hatchery that will ship like 5?
Thanks

If you just want 5 you should make a post asking if anybody else in interested in going in on an order to get the 25 min. I know mypetchicken will ship smaller orders but it will cost you a bunch extra. If you can pick them up in person, mt healthy in Cincinnati OH will sell a few (3 or 6 I think?)

I still have several chickens available: Bantam cochins, OEGB, Marans, Lakenvelders, OEG LF, mixed-breeds. All the Seramas and Silkies are sold. I also have 5 pekin ducks (1 male, 4 females), 8 Embden geese (should be 4 males/4 females), and 11 Birmingham roller pigeons.

Is there a list of KY breeders anywhere?

Has anyone ever tried doing a frapper map on this forum? If you aren't familiar with it, it's basically a map like google maps where everybody puts a pin where they live and can add info that shows up when someone clicks on the pin. I did one for a sailboat forum that I belonged to awhile back and it was pretty neat to see who was near you. You didn't have to put your address or anything that personal, just a city or close to where you lived. I think processors and feed stores could be added to it too.

I have for sale
10 production red pullets
several black and blue wyandotte cockerels and pullets
$10 each
Free ranged every day and are under lights (to stimulate laying) at night

I also have several older hatchery stock gold laced wyandottes that need a second chance or they're destined for freezer camp. They're laying 2 or 3 huge eggs a week.
Plus
1 blue laced red wyandotte rooster
1 gold laced wyandotte rooster
all free

I like it! Would it be a part of this thread or a sticky under the section? Maybe an external page?

I believe there is a map like that for the forum but I don't know where the thread is.
