I have proven them all wrong when I got my khaki Campbell fancy to finally find a safe place away from my house and all my other animals. My two girls picked a nice tree in a flower bed of my neighbor's four houses down and they both went fully Brody towards the end one of my ducks came back and enjoyed just swimming and visiting the nest. My one girl fancy was a phenomenal mother she stayed on the nest then switched over to her sister's nest which more than likely had more developed eggs since her sister would constantly get up and move around. When I was just about to give up and tell my neighbor that I would take the eggs and try them in the incubator one finally hatched and another was hatching this was after almost 32 days of her sitting practically Non-Stop. So don't give up on your girl she was very attentive to the first hatchlings which was four all the others that came after she tried to kill I realize now they were underdeveloped because I tried to save a lot unsuccessfully. Right now she has four and I only have one that I was able to raise inside. I could not hatch any of the other eggs in the incubator it was very frustrating because they must have laid 30 eggs between the two of them. I have them now together in a big baby pool with shavings and they go out together periodically in the yard. Khaki Campbell's can be good mothers and they can hatch their own eggs they just need to be away from other animals and commotion
