Khaki Campbell ducklings not pipping, HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The eggs are positioned on their side, with the air- sack side slightly up higher than the other side, I read to do that in the book Storey's guide to Raising Ducks by Dave Holderread.

Excellent. That is a great book.

Your avatar is so cute. What a gorgeous photo :) I did think they looked a bit light coloured for Khaki ducklings (which are generally much browner) :)

The duckling in my avatar is a Blue Swedish. He's now a big drake and I just put some of his girlfriend's eggs (she is a Black Swedish) in the incubator on the weekend. So in 4 weeks I will be having hatching stress too

I remember when my drake was a tiny little guy, smaller than his girlfriend! But he was more outgoing and liked to be pet more! He was the feistiest thing, he'd go after my dog, it was funny to watch at first because the dog would just plop down onto his butt and look strait ahead! Then it got annoying, to the point where PJ (my drake) would follow Amos ( the dog) around just to harass him. PJ would also come if I called him, if I called him he would march out of the pond with the duck close behind and stand next to me begging for treats! It was so cute, I was just about to show him and Captain (my duck) in 4-H to. You can tell I have little brothers right! Captains full name was Captain Crunch, the 4 year old named her that!

At 32 days they are past due. Time to check if they are even still alive, but be aware they may not be. Domestic ducks (like Khakis) go into lockdown at day 25 (no more turning, increase humidity for hatching) on average they take 3 days to hatch (usually by day 28/29).
