Khaki Campbell x Welsh Harlequin/Questions

My welsh ducks vary from great quality to not so great and my khakis are somewhat light but I’ve learned that there is a light variety. They do get dark when they go broody. And I forgot to add a pic I received earlier from a lady that bought eggs from me. She sent this pic of the four that made it.

Your silver Welsh drake must be heterozygous or split for brown. It is the only way you can get brown ducklings from that cross. Your young drake will also be split and you should get similar results. If they breed with silver Welsh ducks any gold harlequin ducklings are girls, silver could be either. 😃

I took a pic of 8 ducklings. There are 15 but it’s late and I’m exhausted. These 8 represent all of them. Poor #8 needed help and had egg shell attached to it. It looks pitiful. I got most of it off and then gently washed it.
