I don't know. My girls are too young yet to lay eggs. I thought I would get them strong and healthy before they reach that point. Though...this is what it says it's supposed to do for them:
HealthyCoat Kickin Chicken: for Better Plumage, Eggs, and Attitude.

Yes they will cheerios..? go figure. It's in liquid form so be creative in application. I douse their meal worms with it because they certainly gobble those up. The question is how much, how often. The container doesn't tell you.
