Love kids and the things they say.
My daughter, after the DARE "just say no to drugs" lecture at school, came home and told me all about "crow cane" :)

This same daughter wore her "bacon soup" when she went swimming

the other day my 14 year old was teasing my 7 year old,..yeah I love summer,..and he points at the shirtless tot and says 1...2...3,...4....5 rolls auh auh auh aaaaauuuuuhhhh like the count from sesame street. He is so bad,....I had to wait to scold him because I was laughing inside....

My brother is 9 years younger than I am (I'm the oldest). When he was little, he loved cookies. The only problem was, he couldn't say the word "cookie" to save his life. We tried and tried to help him say the word. Instead, he would move his tongue back and forth in his mouth to make the "luh luh luh" sound and point to the cabinet.

Maybe it's not what they say, maybe its what you say to them

"Honey, don't lick the Television"

or

"Please dont bite the dog"

I have a 16 month old boy and if I have to say, be gentle or be careful one more time, im gonna start just playing a revolving recording instead.

my uncle was in the hospital one time and had to be transferred to another hospital ... I ran into his 6 year old grand daughter at school and asked her how her paw paw was doing and she said: paw paw was transplanted to another hospital

That reminds me...I was brushing my teeth the other night and my 4 yr. old DD said "MOMA, Don't you know you are wasting water? You haven't taught you anything!" LOL She is always being 'green'.

She also asked my DH one day when she was just 3 where eggs come from. DH tells her a chickens butt. She gets these looks on her face

And says in a completly grossed out and shocked voice "And you mean we cook 'em and eat 'em???!! That is CRAZY!" LOL

And when she was 3 alos we had a dog named Lila and a guy that works for my DH ran over her as he was leaving and she died. We buried her and a few days later my DD says "Moma, is Lila in heaven?" And I told her "Yes, baby" And Gracie Belle says "Nope, she is still in that hole we put her in!"

Yes, I Do most of the time and have taught my children this and apparently my DD can focus and remember to do this everytime, even when I am slackin'! She is always picking up stuff, turning water and lights off....She goes around saying "If the lights not burning then the meters not turning!!" LOL She has heard her dad say this and now she is the one who says it to all of us.

My sister sys "anther" instead of "Other"....It drives me absolutely NUTZ!

I can't count tthe number of times I've said, "an Anther is part of a flower, you me Other..." She always replys "That's what I SAID...Anther!"
