The spankin's come from my kids ... but NO ONE is allowed to pinch, because anymore, those inches grow out, not up!
And ever since my mother's cake set off the smoke alarm, crazy candles are a "given" around here ...

I am about 15 minutes away

Holland, Michigan has them, too. There's an annual Tulip Festival, as well. My mother is from the area and goes every few years ... or used to, anyway. Next time, I wanna tag along!

No, I don't think it is normal, and I really think you should be checked, more thoroughly than a flashlight and tongue depressor in the mouth.

They are too small for the mini. Too small as in they won't fit around his ears. They don't stretch.
I'll measure them asap.
I can't return the damn things.

My kids had a lemonade stand. They made like $30.

DD made $40.00 one weekend selling cucumbers out of our garden. She sold every cuk we had.

Reoccurring dreams? Ohhhh, I have this one!

It's awesome! I've had it since about age 10/11. It starts out I'm looking at a billowing sheet of brightly colored, rip-stop nylon and hear a voice "in my head" from the speaker next to my ear...... I'm about to hangglider..... The beginning is always the same. The middle is mostly the same. The ending has always been a little different over the years. Every time the So-Cal thermals bump me up, higher & higher.
1st across OC, then saddleback mountain, then finally the jetstream takes over....
I fly over Chi-town and start my decent towards exit 100 on I-94 in Michigan.

The details are so etched in my brain it's amazingly real.

In Jr. College we had to right a short story 3-5 pages long. I asked the prof. If I could use this dream. Gave them a brief runs own. They begrudgingly said yes, BUT - it must be 5 pages & no crap. Well, when it came time for the rough draft to be turned in (I sheepishly grinned) as I handed in the rough draft of 10/11 pages, single spaced - I expanded the margins to fit more text per page - story and said. It's only about 1/2 way through the dream at this point.

Yeah, it got clipped a bit & I got the ending in to it as well.... Just about 12 pages was the final draft IIRC.

As for helping our kiddos with those bad dreams. I helped them with some mental imagery skills for while they are dreaming. A LA Ghostbusters.... They have enjoyed it for many years now. They admit to not having mastered it but, they do feel alot better when they do wake up from bad dreams or nightmares.

Flying dreams like that are THE BEST! They represent so many positive things - freedom, self-confidence, options, openness. They're awesome!

Yes it is! And thank you I also have a Partridge Rock and a couple EEs not visible here. Well, the one EE you can barely see under the coop lol and most of those colorful ones in the front are new this year. really wanted to try Brabanters but couldn’t decide on a color so got 2 of each the bantam Cochins are new too. Eye candy is definitely an important factor to me most of my chickens have been chosen for that except the first ones I look for other factors too but still. I want good looking, friendly birds
