he now squawks super loud like that lol but he also does this quiet little chatter and it’s super cute.

Very true. Dylan came to me knowing how to tell me to f* off. A couple of weeks after she came to us, I turned the light on in the room after bedtime. "F___ O--" was what she said. Have not done that again, have not heard that word again! I got her from a 19 year-old boy who was moving out, BTW.Another reason African Greys are a big no no right now is they would learn a lot of yelling and swearingalso, my roommate had one once and apparently that thing could do a perfect imitation of their mother and would sometimes call the brother’s name and he would go upstairs and discover it’s just the dang bird and get so mad
it was ahhhmazing! as usual even though he used one the the pieces of venison that we typically don’t eat (he said it was a “twitchy” that most ppl grind) he made it all fairly low sodium too! i thought the best part was the homegrown jalapeño/serrano salsa that we made from the garden!!
