Kiki's found horse eggs—experiment Round 2

My boss is male.

Okay, the more I think about it I will ask my parents BEFORE I even collect the eggs. I work Monday, too and my dad will be home tomorrow.

Thoughts? Should I leave the eggs sitting outside for that long? My boss will probably be back by Monday. I don't think he will be all that positive about me trying to hatch some eggs. I'm hesitant to ask because they aren't my birds.
Is it part of your job to collect laid turkey eggs?

I know zero about turkeys. I am wondering if that turkey didn't leave those eggs there on purpose???

No clue. I just do as I'm told, really.
He hasn't said anything about turkey eggs. I don't think he even knows they've been laid. He is in SD.

Maybe. But the thing is: there is one hen brooding in the hutch. These eggs are both about 3 feet outside of the hutch and 3-4 feet from each other.
:confused:Maybe she kicked them out because they are no good?

Just collect them tomorrow and put them somewhere safe until the dude gets back.
Tell him where you found them and ask him if you can have them.

IF you are able to get these turkey eggs (after asking) would you be able to keep the birds at your house?
If not you have to find a home for them before you ask your dad.
No, I can't keep turkeys. Which is another reason not to do this. :barnie
:he
Honestly, I'm thinking of dropping this idea. Not to mention that I haven't the slightest clue as to how to incubate turkey eggs. :(:hmm

Can you try to incubate some chicken eggs instead?

Sure. If my hens would actually lay eggs for the first time in eons. I only have bantam roosters, and the one mature banty hen I do have has never laid an egg in her two years of life.

Ugh, feeling so defeated :hitIt is probably going to be over half a century before I have the time and space to responsibly incubate poultry eggs.
