Kiki's found horse eggs—experiment Round 2

I almost put Nuskin on it like I did with the balut eggs but I didn't want to take a chance with this one and chose to drip wax on it instead. I've never dripped wax on an egg before. I probably have way too much wax on it, who knows. We shall see what happened.
I've hatched one with a crack over the air cell. Don't know how it will work elsewhere. I tried putting wax over the crack, but that didn't work so I used tape. Don't know if that's safe, but it worked and he hatched without assistance. :idunno

I'm not going to worry about the crack/wax right now.
So far it's working...the egg is developing. :fl
When it comes hatch time I will figure something out if I have too much wax on it.

Well KIKI, I have an old surfboard that needs waxing!

I have a spotlight that is 6000 lumens. I can see 1/4 of a mile away or more with it. It can’t candle eggs though.
I'm thinking a 1000 - 1200 lumens would be perfect.
Let me go look for the one @ronott1 mentioned the other day.

Neat! That would have been so useful for when I was candling eggs under a broody. I had to run an extension cord out. :barnie

I had that candler for a bit. Worked great for a year, then it died. Not bad at all for price.
You should have just stole the eggs and brought them inside for a quick minute silly!

No way. I'm clumsy. I'd have ended up dropping the whole dozen and making accidental scrambled eggs. Much safer to leave them there.
