I agree, Egg 3 a quitter. I couldn't tell from the large pictures, if I was seeing a blood ring or a vein on Egg 2, but if the attached thumbnail is also Egg 2, it looks more like a blood ring. Holding out hope for Egg 1.

I don't think that will increase my chances.
I may be wrong but the way I am thinking is...
If 2 or 3 eggs are no good there is a good chance that the whole lot of eggs are no good.
So I'd rather water waste a couple of dollars each time instead of more dollars each time.

I really want it to be Thursday again already.

I didn't have time to go make a pass and look at more eggs today.
I may do so tomorrow.

I'm sorry your second eggs weren't a success. Maybe being younger made them less tolerant of cooling. I think it's pretty amazing your first ones survived to begin with. If the goal was to keep them live for customers, they wouldn't be left on the counter. Yet, I personally would rather eat one cooked fresh than previously deceased. If they arrive on Thursday, do you know how long they're left out, perhaps just through the weekend?
