Kiki's found horse eggs—experiment Round 2

I just caught Miss Badness off the nest, put my ear over the nest, heard nothing! Except hen having a fit that I was in her nest. When I left she went and stood looking at the eggs for a moment, as if to check that I had not done anything with or to them, then she set her self in place and settled in for the rest of the day. I think we still have about 4 days left. Was afraid to touch the eggs, hen was so up set that I was even near the nest. I am afraid to handle or candle them now, at this late date, as well as this crazy hen, I don't want her to abandon the nest because she thinks I messed with her clutch. :barnie

:hugs I did the exact same thing on day 18. Couldn’t hear a thing. But they started hatching less than two days later :D

@KikisGirls Unless they decided to take a nap first and start hatching right after I left, I really think I have a few more days, is this humor, to make me run outside again, or do you really think that was why Miss Badness was such a PITA earlier. Wouldn't she have just stayed on the nest if hatch time was that close? :confused:

I haven't a clue what these type of crazy chickens do.
Does she just leave(the nest) once a day real quick?
 
Hi. Thanks for tagging me & bringing me to this thread. Now I have to follow it to see the baby horsechickies when they hatch.
I picked my name here because we just got lots of mini/micro chicken breeds. Had never noticed another member who had a similar name while I had been lurking on the site for the past few months. Sorry.:confused:
