No they went outside Tuesday for the day, but I have to keep them inside for now because we are experiencing thunderstorms for the third day in a row.
The cockerel is starting to crow now and he sounds like a sqeaky toy

Some people dress their hens in a thing...not awake yet...to help prevent that. How many hens does your rooster have?

A saddle or apron will protect their backs. If you don’t have enough girls for your boy he will continue to cause problems for your girls. Sometimes he has a favorite girl that gets a little to much attention.
I have found my young girls have more damage then my older hens. I think it’s in part because they don’t know enough to help the boys balance, if that makes sense.

They are my favorite hens too! maybe just separate the roo? not fair at all.
