24 hours from internal is a good average. If its a big air cell, I may give it a little longer. Smaller air cells, I may do a safety hole sooner.

I think the air cell is big.
I think I would prefer to let things happen naturally.

I don't usually recommend going in unless you are fully sure, but i second Rae. The chicken rotates towards the air sac and pips internally, but that's only a sac of air, to keep breathing it pushes forward and pips the egg to breathe. My best guess is it ran out of air. Maybe it's just really slow... But it shouldn't take more than 24 hours, as mentioned.
