Kiki's found horse eggs—experiment Round 2

Nothing to loose at this point by opening up for a look see. Go slow. I've opened an egg for what I thought was an eggtopsy, only to find the chick was still alive. You may find the reason why the chick died: Possibly pipped through a major vessel, perhaps ruptured yolk. Most likely, it was malpositioned and could not complete the external pip.
 
If you can zip around where the airsac was, you should be able to see the position it was in when ready to pip.

You're doing good... It's like watching a movie on dial up. I only have the last picture to go off of (if i refreshed fast enough)
And the inner membrane was open due to the intrnal pip. So that's a good/expected sign.
