is that their "run" or where you free range? Curious about the plants/foliage there (hostas/some others) and how those fare with the chickies...

Same. Took care of chickens when I was little and hardcore jumped in this spring. I did have a random chicken show up in December, I’m not counting that though.

they're...stunning to look at when colored...but so far no "natural" preditor to keep them at bay...they grow like rabbits on a blue pill and then eat/kill so much...

They're having "free time". They've (not those particular birds) pecked at the hostas before, but they learn quick that's a no-no.

Thanks for that...trying to sort through what to grow in/around/near/etc their run that might survive but also give a treat
