I put a 45 gallon tree pot in the run for mint with a 2' wire cage around it. They crawled under and flew over the wire to stomp down the mint and lay eggs in the middle. It's now surrounded by a 5' tall section of fence surrounding the pot. Good luck with your project. Mine is recovering. You want some mint to get you started?

As for mint...a very kind offer. I have a bush of it (no joke, probably a good 2-3ft tall bush) growing. I'm gonna experiment and see what I can fabricate.
