Our parents used to have to check our Halloween candy...
Is that not still a thing to do? The whole checking each piece of candy?


If we trick or treat I just throw the candy away.

I know an urban legend:
So this lady is trying on wool coats in a store, and there’s what she thinks is a tag scratching her arm inside the sleeve. By the time she gets home, her arm is swelled up huge and she finds out that there was a nest of baby snakes in that coat.
