I used to HATE pumpkin spice anything but now I kinda dig it 😂🤣 the best is pumpkin spice muffins/breads and pumpkin spice tea :love a moist delicious piece with some cream cheese on it? Perfection. :love :drool

And it’s supposed to be 79 and sunny, clear skies on Sunday and then 83 and 82 next weekend. Do you want it?

looks like a bobo.
Bobo? But that's not on the Kiki Speak list! The only Bobo I've ever seen reference to was the little rat-dog! BooBoo-Bobo?
It's not an injury, that's just what DD thought the first time she noticed it ... today ... she said she thought The Boys were fighting. A good half-dozen of them have the black "bubbles," but poor Avatar has them the worst. Figures ... he's really small and is the first or our Nankins to sport the tight rose comb we've been trying to develop.
At the moment, he's indoors in a small kennel, where we can be sure he's eating and drinking . Yes to food. No to liquids. He will eat crumbles soaked in Pedialyte, so that's the route we're going, at the moment. He really doesn't want the liquids. I can't get a good look, but he may have a yellow blister on the end of his tongue ... that's not a good sign, is it?
I have NO experience with fowl pox, and my Extension Office is closed. I'm not quite panicked ... but I'm getting there ...

Boo boo.
Yellow would not be good.
It could be pox but I don't think so bu that picture.
Do you have a lot of mosquitos right now?

Can you open his mouth and get a good look?

Okay Crew - I have a totally non-related question ... but it's about my chickens.
Is this dry fowl pox?

Same bird -both sides of his face - about a year old Nankin rooster.
I HATE 2020!

He looks like he has a tiny, yellow ball on the end of his tongue ... which would explain why the poor guy doesn't wan't to swallow much. And yes, we have TONS of mosquitos! We live right on a major creek and we've had nothing but rain and floods for the last three weeks. Worse - DD just got reamed out royally. Despite being told to empty & refill the big bucket every other day, NOT just to top it off, I just found a gazillion larvae in the big waterer! Will ACV keep skeeters from breeding in there? If not, I guess we're putting in nipple waterers for the rest of bug season - starting tomorrow!

EDIT TO ADD - The little ball on the tip of his tongue looks more white than yellow. It's very small and on the very tip of his tongue, almost as if it belongs there? To be honest, I've never looked at the tips of my birds tongues closely enough to know if that's normal or not. I'll do that in the morning ... after completely sanitizing myself again!
