Asia,True! Garden Grove, Orange County CA. has mostly a Vietnamese population. Where as Westminster CA. is all Korean!

But running triggers the prey instinct, no!? You are supposed to stand your ground!!! At least with black bears. I think grizzlies you curl up. But black bears are scaredy cats so you stand your ground and scream and yell and wave your arms around really high.

Or you can just yell, "Hey BOOBOO, Give me another pick-in-nick basket"!

We have some bees or wasps or something under the eave/corner of the garage in the garden. Actually kind of in it. There’s a hole in the corner they come in and out of. They don’t seem to bother anyone when we walk by the path next to them or care that we’re there so I think I had ruled out wasps? But they’re darker than honey bees I think but hard to get a good look at them as I don’t dare get too close. They’ve been there several weeks or longer and are always in and out.

Darker than honey bees? Do they have black mustaches? They could be Italian wasps!
