You and @gointothebirdsfarm may look close on the map, but I've been through "those parts" - and unless you're a crow, it takes AGES to work your way through those mountain roads! We border WV.

I feel the same way! I MISS the snows of my youth ... even when I remember hand shoveling 200 feet of drive because we couldn't get the tractor out. I swear my mom made that up just to get us all out of the house. It worked - and the grumbling turned into the best of memories!Honestly if we get snow anymore it's a treat. I envy some of the counties that get more (as long as I'm off the road, LOL).
I finally gave up on my mealworms/darklings and dumped the entire bin into my main coop. The ladies went NUTS and I no longer have mealworms on my kitchen counter. My mother celebrated, but to be honest, I kinda miss them. I'll probably start over again in the Fall, but with a better set-up. I'm thinking of making a terrarium-type thing, instead.I know, spoil sport, but S was so 2wks ago.
How about this one “Harvest.” DH has named all of his worms & beetles Henry, so this is “Harvesting Henry’s”

Wait, when did Kiki become "Lucy?" I thought that she was Vanessa? Or was it Irene?
Kiki, make up your mind!
Honestly, I just wanted an excuse to use that little emoji up there.
Along with PA, NJ & DE, Maryland is Mid-Atlantic. NY flip-flops between New England and Mid-Atlantic, but is technically considered part of "Us" as well. Most people put VA & WV solidly in The South," but with the weather similarities, VA probably belongs more in the Mid-Atlantic. WV, with all the mountains, is a whole microcosm in itself, but it's Mid-Atlantic Mountain, so I guess we can let them in, too!![]()

you guys are KILLING me!!! I am DYING here!

For clarification, Maryland is not Midwest. It is included in the Northeast portion of “northeast and Midwest”
Ohio is the Midwest one.
And Maine might as well be Canada.
When you get far enough up there you are pretty dang close to Canada! And they have deep wilderness, moose, and maple syrup just like Canada.![]()
We got maple syrup here too. Now I'm Canadian...![]()

We don’t have. Krispy Kreme hereAhhhhhh the life...able to go to Dunkin'...and Krispy Kreme...and Wendy's...anytime you wanted.
Don't forget the gas station. That is where she was going daily to get her ice cream.
I loved that show hahaOr you can just yell, "Hey BOOBOO,Give me another pick-in-nick basket"!
Hey Overo Mare...how's it going out in the Midwest? See any good looking cowboys lately?
DEAD!!! For real!!!Just had a band of wild horses come through.
ETA: No cowboys yet. The mountains disappeared since learning that this is the Midwest though. Corn popped up and replaced them.
Sounds terrifying!!! We don’t usually get much snow here anymore nd I miss itYup - and coastal Maryland doesn't usually get good snow. We get ice storms ... very pretty, but NASTY ... and very, very dangerous!

I miss my Jr high/HS stomping grounds of Costa Mesa, Balboa island, Laguna Beach, Anza Borrego, & Glamis..... (Deep sigh)Asia,True! Garden Grove, Orange County CA. has mostly a Vietnamese population. Where as Westminster CA. is all Korean!![]()
Way up yonder, past the caution light, at the little store with an old Coke sign -- ask Ms. Belle for some of her sweet tea, you have to do that -- then a left will take you to the interstate, but a right will bring you back to BYC.Can't read maps well? OK. Drive to the corner gas station, take a right, then drive to the next gas station. There you may find Dan the oilcan man (KDOGG knows him well) and just ask him for further directions.![]()
