Laura came knocking on my door, today. She pushed an impressive storm in ahead of her, last night, but the first of her own mess is just hitting us, now. We went from sunny to fire-hose strength rain ... and back to semi-sunny again, in just under an hour. If this is all we get, even if it repeats all day long, I'll be happy ... almost deliriously so!The hurricane fizzled by the time it reached us but it pushed another huge storm that currently over Kansas and Missouri straight this way!!!!
Around here, hawks don't usually carry birds off. They tear them apart in place - very messily and VERY quickly - but we mostly just have red-tails, which are smallish for carrying away chickens ... even a banty.Thank you.
Unfortunately, I don't have any cameras to set up.
Lefty was a bantam, and I've seen a hawk flying around lately -- I was thinking that he was carried off.
That still doesn't explain the lack of feathers....

She does sell them actually. In the art studio a bunch looked like they were ready to be shipped or whatever. Sadly she doesn't make paintings anymore but maybe I could get a copy sort of thing like you said
