I'm going to split them up this weekend so I might try to vent sex them.

I'm going to do a vent sex experiment with my current batch. I'm going to vent sex them around 2 weeks of age and separate the ones I think are girls from the ones I think are boys. Then I wait to see how many I got right.

You don't have to do anything but gently part the feathers until you can see the vent. If your boys are crowing and mature, that might be enough pressure to produce foam. I'm going by shape of vent.
