Yes, but my pie is a reduced sugar pie. I used half sugar and half sucralose in the recipe.

I didn't even buy the gooseberries. The company I bought the plants from sent me a different kind of gooseberry plants than what I ordered. The next year when they produced their first fruit, I sent them pictures of the ripe fruit and they refunded everything that I paid for them including the shipping.

Nice! We have a few gooseberries out here, but nothing like enough to make a pie. I never thought of planting them. My Saskatoon is only just now coming out of the wood--not the buds, and one of my "super hardy" apple trees is doing the same, but slower and not as high up. We did have some pretty cold nights, I guess...
