Tutorial for this please!!

I always drag the ribcage back into the woods.

We would always cut it into pieces and boil it in a roaster to make a sort of fatty stock, then pick the meat off of the bones.
I have memories of picking the ribs and neck at the kitchen table with my father, tossing the bits into empty margarine containers... out fingers would be absolutely disgusting by the end, and we'd need to wipe down the table. It was fun, kind of, and tiring, but we haven't been getting deer for several years.
