yeah that’s the average afternoon collection......sometimes i find more during morning feeding

It literally took me like 2 1/2 or 3 hours

Longer if you count the time it took me to catch them and bring them in, etc.

Probably like half hour or 20 minutes to butcher them (I tried to be as fast as possible but by the time I let them drain etc. it ended up being longer) and then like legit 10 minutes short of 2 hours to process but I also took pics of the meat and organs and bagged them so that might be why it was longer. I will say skinning went a lot faster this time. It was easy. The first one I tried scalding and it was easy but then I accidentally tore the skin so I just skinned it

Some of the meat was out a while so hopefully it’s okay.

But by the end I was processing so fast lol

Ended up doing 7 boys and 1 girl. I kind of regret doing the girl cause I think she was laying and she was gorgeous. but she had really swollen/messed up feet and I didn’t feel like doctoring her

Some of the boys had MASSIVE gonads so I guess I picked the right ones to butcher

There’s still a few boys left but

There was no helping her feet. You should have killed her weeks ago.

I tend to avoid it out of concern for disease transmission, as I don't think it's a good idea to engage in that sort of cyclical feeding for any animal species, but I don't mind if they grab a few scraps.

Prions freak me out.
