i pulled first jar of pickled cucumbers and jalapeños out of the walk-in yesterday for a taste test! didn’t get to them last night so maybe try with breakfast this morning!

that looks like a good size!! i don’t have any green zucchini but yellow squash is out of control! mr muddy has been using some of the larger ones to make soup!! it is yummy!

I quit growing zucchini a long time ago. Even limiting the zucchini to one hill, I still ended up having to give away at least a bushel at a time.

I switched to Nadia eggplant. When breaded and fried, I can't taste the difference between it and fried zucchini. Black Beauty eggplant is a different story including the texture.

Yellow squash is my favorite thing to grow and eat! I really need to start prepping for a garden next year!

My tractor and bush hog taunt me this morning. Tree Limbs all over the place. Grass around the house needs cut. Coop needs cleaned. Shop needs organized. Roads need Box Bladed ...

i cleaned out the onion bed last weekend and planning to ditch the strawberries as soon as weather permits so I can get pumpkins and turnips going.

If I waited this late to start pumpkins, I would never get anything from them.
