Kiki's White Trash and or Nerdy Birthday Bash Funeral

Crap! One of my chickens just died. A FBCM had been acting off and stopped laying eggs ever since I did the land clearing with an excavator a couple weeks ago. No other symptoms. With that one gone and the three SS I’m going to get rid of that will leave room for a few ISA Browns I’ve been wanting to try.
i had a quailie get beat up pretty bad today too......hoping he makes it because i don’t like processing one at a time!

Go back to my room where I left you.

Any more nonsense like that and I'll gag you with a sock. :plbb
I've got some socks -- I just need to take off my sneakers, having just gotten home from a three-hour shopping trip, and you can have them.

Oh theyre always listening.
All women are crazy some just hide it better then other.
How crazy am I, would you say?
I am genuinely curious.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say that I'm an 11.

Egg yolk peritonitis, egg bound, salpingitis, hypocalcemia, fatty liver syndrome... are you curious about why she died?
Thank you but I’m not really. If I had to guess I think she probably had a bad heart. All the birds were stressed with that excavator and I think she just could not recuperate.

Kohl's. I don't shop there anymore, unless I have cash-in-hand.
EDIT to add:
And the tracking I was concerned about wasn't on the mainline system. It was at the cashier's station! I was in-store once and was checking out when I realized that I'd left my card at home. The cashier said it was fine ... all I had to do was type in my SS# on her little prompter and the system would look it up for me. Horrified, I apologized to the poor cashier ... and left every last item on the counter.
So they just tracked everybody!? OH. MY. GOSH!!! :ep :th is that even legal!?

Understood! For what it's worth, fatty liver syndrome is commonly seen in laying hens that spontaneously die with no other symptoms—especially in warmer months and when they are stressed.
I hope it was an isolated incident. Sorry for the loss.

just finished salad.....lasagna is cooling, and garlic bread is cooking!! :drool
I just made fresh corn on the cob(with too much butter, of course,) fried cauliflower (with too much salt, again ... of course) and mush-puppies (mushroom fritters.) It was a totally unhealthy vegetarian meal ... but it was so good that DS & I just stood at the stove eating as fast as it cooled ... I didn't even think to take a picture until everything was gone.

Hey ...

WayMaNinit ...

If there aren't any pictures, it didn't happen, right?

UNCOUNTABLE CALORIES!!!!!

:celebrate:wee:celebrate

A friend posted this elsewhere and it was too good not to share 🤭

Reminds me of the age old question: would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses, or 1 horse-sized duck?

My answer is always the duck. I bet that thing wouldn't even be able to lift it's fat body off the ground.
Plus, can you imagine the tiny bites from all those horses? It'd be like that scene in Jurassic Park.. you know the one...
