I've been applying to vet clinics all summer. They either ignore me or tell me to try again when school starts.
I have this specialist Dr appt in a week that will hopefully answer some of my questions regarding my ability to work. After that I'll be hounding the vets that did get back to me and begging for a job lol.
Meanwhile—hubs got the first job that he applied for (a listing that I showed him). He has less experience than me... got a call back almost within the day. Why? "You're a guy, and you seem like a hard worker." (said his hiring manager) FML lol.
I'm so sorry about your job. It really is crappy for everyone, which you'd think would lead to more empathy for each other, but clearly not.
Amen to being thankful for what we have!
On the bright side, hubs HAS an awesome job, online school means more time spent with puppy, and vet school applications no longer require the GRE.
