Specialization is for insects.”

I can only cook a tasty meal, take orders, maybe pitch manure, build a wall -- depending on what kind of wall -- maybe cooperate, and I'll probably learn how to set a bone in nursing school.
Cooking is what I do best out of those things, though, but the definition of "tasty" changes depending on the person, so that's kind of up for debate.

If I was smarter... and... a better writer, I'd write stuff for money and dang sure use your analogy "like a massive Poppy meandering across the sky...

My analogies are always stupid and juvenile. For example I wrote once, "When he sold that lawnmower, he got screwed like a tied up goat".

Doesn't have the family friendly ring as your Poppy analogy!

Sometimes it just takes bad luck for a transformer to blow or a power line to come down.

Very true!!! I am sure a tree branch fell wrong or something or maybe a transformer blew since we did hear some popping/loud noises earlier today and quite a large area was out. Even the traffic lights down the street.

We are too close to the neighbors anyway. Although the front yard is huge and doesn’t face anybody so it’s probably far enough away but idk. I think I’d need a silencer and a license.
