I actually don't mind the snow. Good thing, because we average 128 inches a year. That's 3.25 meters to you folks using the metric system.
In three days of snow squalls…. Feb 2025

Absolutely a miserable day today. High winds, snow squalls, blowing snow. Just came home from supper in town and the snow plows and salt trucks were NOT out and about. Must ask the county about this, the same thing happened last week with the snow. Anyways there was a really bad accident coming home, thank goodness I have my new tires on the truck.
Anyways under a snow squall warning, and slated to get 15 to 30 cm of snow by tomorrow afternoon. Yay.... (not).

Squall line is still fairly disorganized coming off of Georgian Bay here, give it a few more hr and the temp to drop a bit more and I will be socked in with snow by morning. And you all know how much I love snow...

Ok everyone, have a lovely and safe evening/night/day!
Ha! Squalls still all disorganized - good! The weather station is wrong!
Have about 5cm (2”) on the ground, that’s more than enough.
Is it that dry there?! Still?View attachment 4252477Elevated Fire Danger![]()
Gosh, I miss Arizona. Such a beautiful state. But I don't miss Arizona in summer... Or mid to late spring... Or early to mid fall...60°, cloudy, and 52% humidity at 2:45 A.M. High of 76°.
Chicken delights today will be tuna and peas.
November is our spring time and when we have outdoor events like marathons, golf tournaments, and bicycling races. Here is the Garmin Marathon that was run last Saturday. It was still dark at the 6:30 A.M. start. The happy man in the last pic is local Joseph Moreno who finished first.
