I appreciate all the help and information and everything.I gave geographic location for perspective.
If you want I can throw down with data from: Ottawa Canada, Several areas of NY and NYC, I have a college friend in Penn family in North of Orlando FL., SW southern Michigan, So-Cal, and a suburban area of Seattle too.
I know that rent alone for a 450sq/ft 'flat that was in the Bruroughs circa '2012-15 from a college buddy were ~$2k iirc & a 1200 sq/ft 1950's house in OC So-Cal in the 90's was well over $2K a month so scaling for inflation is doable not mention the Zillow does allow for a quick cheatsheet to show area rental rates almost anywhere in the nation iirc too. So if you play statistical jousting becareful what your willing to be exposed to as I'm not afraid to be proven wrong in hear. My goal is - as always - helping folks learn and searching the net for relivant data that is factual and appropriate for the topic at hand. While in college I took great patience helping many female friends in the dorm understand that I truly had their future self reliance in mind by teaching the gearheaded basics for their survival in the current and future semester with their car. They (in a few cases) didn't grasp the simplest fact of why you need to check the different fluids in your car, whether it's every time you get in to every month or longer.
When I asked them metaphorical questions in parallel to something they had an interest in, then, a couple finally started to grasp "it" and took weeks to eventually start the baby steps toward self reliance and confidence in some of these simple responsibilities of vehicle ownership as their parents never bothered to teach their daughters (and a few sons) respect for their car and other systemic area..... Some of these kids were also raised in silver or gold plated spoons too.
One particular gal try as she might for a few full semesters never seemed to grasp some stuff but, "knew" she didn't want to be taken advantage of by all these different survive industry folks and didn't stop trying to understand - the uphill Battle for her was the parents has sent her to college to get her MRS degree only.......
And that is alot of digression.
Digest as you wish. Just know that time is still on our side to learn and grow to be a "better version of ourselves" we just have to put forth the effort and honest effort at that. That's why I find the "quitters thread so inspiring."
'nuff verbal diarrhea for now?????
