I want to milk her in the mornings when Rosie gets a little bigger. The plan is to put her (Rosie) in a stall at night and let her out in the mornings after or during milking. I need to build a milking stanchion, though. Eden's got such short little legs I'd almost have to lie on my tummy. As the ground is unpredictably wet and/or icky, that's just not an option I care to entertain.She is beautiful!! It's hard having to get rid of cattle, life just isn't the same without a cow or three. Up at the farm there is a pet Highland cow who serves no purpose whatsoever other than to exist. But I know, hay is too expensive for such large pets.
