kind of egg bound, maybe?

Did you do the warm soak and calcium? The siak should be relaxing. Try to remain calm and speak soothingly. Can you SEE the egg? At some point you may have to remove it yourself, even if it comes to poking it, draining it, and carefully removing the shell. I DO NOT have experience with this and understand it is dangerous. You would need to google videos or maybe someone here could walk you through it. But if she is fully blocked and can’t get any poop out, she will die from this blockage. How is she right now?

She is eating, pooping and moving around. Cannot see the egg. The membrane is in the way. If I could find a clear path to the egg, I should be able to guide it out. Seems there is a kink in the hose.

Check YouTube. I saw a really great video a while back. I can look for it later if you can't find it.
It could have been one for prolapse, but there was an egg stuck in it, so i think it would still help you figure it out.

Good luck

She was more swollen. I pulled 2 fully formed eggs and a soft shell out. I expected to find them in a membrane. When the cavity was opened, there were the eggs. I might have cut it due to the swelling, but I don't believe so. Lots of yellow surrounding them. Since this was happening over the last several days, my guess (and it is no more than that) is she ruptured internally. Egg was misdirected and followed by another. The following ruptured due to the traffic jam and that was the bright yellow everywhere.

I could post pictures, but just imagine 2 eggs covered in yolk sitting next to a soft shelled rubber egg covered in yolk.

She had sunflower seeds in the crop, so she was eating. Not a lot mind you.

Thank you for teaching us. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for sharing your short life with us. Peace be with you.

I demand to see them!

Hey Nut....have any of the others run into this problem?

1. yuck. I should have taken more, but it was messy and I couldn't make heads nor tails of what I was looking at. No value to posting the ones I do have.

2. The other leghorns are fine. Getting 4-7 white eggs. Usually 6 this week.

I'm not able to move this many eggs. Looking at finding a new home for half these girls. I've got one (1) dedicated egg customer after shaking the bushes for 2 months.
