Is it normal for combs to change color when it’s really hot out?

Yep, temperature and mood can cause changes in color

yes the heat can make a chickens comb change color. combs and wattles can also become frost bitten and turn black in extreme cold

Ok. I just wanted to make sure it was normal. My cochin in the morning has a pink comb but by mid day it has more color. It’s also been in the 100s for the last week.
