Early in my marriage, we were going to my mom's for Easter and I was making a whipped cream cheesecake. The problem was that I didn't have a bowl big enough to make a gallon of whipped cream. My Great Dane did. A little scrubbing and voila! I made the mistake of sharing my methods with the family. My siblings were okay with it, but Mom wouldn't eat a bite.

When brining became all the rage a few years ago my aunt decided to brine her Thanksgiving turkey.

However she had nothing big enough in which to brine it.

She walked around the house muttering, "Hmm... what to use... what to use?" Then her eyes fell upon IT: the shop-vac.

That was one year that I was glad that we have Thanksgiving on different coasts.

I think that one of the grossest "foods" out there is the litter box cake. Why someone would make food that looks like a box of poo is completely beyond me.

Same reason people love the movie Caddy Shack​

We had that litter cake at a family reunion, along with a walker with a toilet pan attached that was full of Mountain Dew pop and candy bars resembling you know what. My husbands family is so crude I wanted to die. They had contests for prizes who could eat and do certain things. It was so wrong.

It was the last reunion on his side we have attended.
