Kindle Library/Cloud Question..

Red, I know how to look at the book description on my kindle 3G easily, but that's not helping you is it?

I'm glad I read the reviews on the fire before I purchased Keith a kindle for Christmas. I got him the touch not the fire.

I don't know about the Kindle Fire, but on my Kindle, you go to the menu and your wireless/3G signal has to be on so it can pull it up from whispernet. Craziness right? You bought the book, why doesn't the description come with it automatically?! Anyhow!! Good luck!

Wendy, my kindle has a navigational button - up, down, left and right. I click on the right button (while on a book title) and a menu comes up that includes "book description".

I've had my Kindle for a year and a half - so it's an older model. Here's how I get to the book description on mine. Once I'm into a specific book, I click on "menu" and then scroll down to "book description." Your newer Kindle is probably completely different. Good luck with it! I love my Kindle- but it definitely has some shortcomings in comparison to a regular book. But then it has its advantages, too.
