Hello All!
Well I didn't want my first post to be a whining one..... but..... I'm having trouble with my Suro King. I thought my problem was the shipped eggs, but this morning when I went to check the temp on the Suro, it read 97.3. The display was showing 99.5 like it always has. If I try and calibrate it, it will spike up to the calibration amount plus the 99.5. It will eventually settle down to a degree or two below the sent temp. Seems to swing 5 degree's or so if I make ANY adjustment.
My first thought was that the thermo I was using had to be wrong, so i tried it in my Brinsea mini, 99.5 rock solid never wavered.
So now that I've killed $20 in eggs, has anyone had any luck dealing with R-com and or JMT Distributors? I've emailed both and had no response yet.
I paid with Paypal so I'm sure a dispute is out of the question. I guess I'll give them a few days and see what happens.
I was going to cull the rest of the eggs, but one had a small embryo with a hertbeat, so I think I'll just leave the rest in and see what happens. I really have no other place to put them. The duck eggs are taking up the Brinsea.
