Abbet remembered full well what happened last time. She nodded and politely replied, "I'm sorry."

"Why do you even consider to question my things? " Hasis growled, but slowly mellowed out.

"Because I am your servant, Sire."

"But my conversations with my guards? "

She nodded, and then limped to the throne.

Hasis gradually followed behind.

She stopped at the base and leaned against the metal.[/quote]

After quite a while the guard finally returned - an elf was with him. He was dressed in red robes and had black hair.






"I have found you a healer, Sire," the guard said, saluting.[/quote]
Hasis walked up to the healer, "Thank you for coming, can you help this young lady?" He asked, pointing to cripple Abbet.[/quote]






The guard quickly returned to his post.





The healer looked at Abbet and turned to Hasis. "What happened?"[/quote]
"My guards handled her wrong." Hasis simply stated.[/quote]





From in front of the throne, Abbet granced at Hasis in distraught.




The healer looked over at her again and then approached her slowly. "How are you, my dear?" he asked, calmly. Then he bent down to get a closer view of her knees. They were much better looking than the day she fell on them.




"I'm okay," Abbet replied and showed a tiny smile. "It just hurts to walk."




"I can see that," said the healer, touching and feeling her skin.[/quote]
Hasis observed and wasn't to thrilled on his touchy hands. He folded his arms and scrutinized the healer as he waited.[/quote]




He started to sprinkle all kinds of herb seeds onto her flesh, which caused her to twitch a bit. After, he wrapped her wounds in more bandages. The healer stood up and put one hand on her shoulder. "There that should it - you'll be better in a day or so," he said. "Just don't take off those bandages."[/quote]
"Thank you." Hasis nodded to the healer, but in a eerie way.[/quote]



He turned and quickly glaced at the King. "Sure thing, your majesty."[/quote]
"For your help consider a pay reward," Hasis tossed a few platinum coins. [/quote]


The healer couldn't help but be more thankful. "Is there anything else I can do for you, Sire?" he asked, politely and bowed.[/quote]
"No, nothing right now. Maybe in the future for another patient." Hasis smirked, sitting down in his chair.

"Very well, your Majesty. I take my leave then." The healer exited the court and shut the massive doors behind him.

Conroy reached out his arm and opened his palm. "May I have it?" he asked.

Aspen stared right into his soul, "Listen here Conroy if you don't use this gem for the gate, I'll hunt you down." her tone stern.

Abbet was close enough to eavesdrop. She turned around and said quietly, "That spy was here."

"Well I don't trust much people." Aspen informed, setting the gem in his palm.

He graciously took it and ran for the gatekeeper, who stood on the right side of the doors. Conroy slowly crept to him and asked to see if the gem was worth enough to get through.
The gatekeeper nodded, took the gem, and ordered other guards on the other side to open the gate. Momentarily, it did.
Conroy scanned for Aspen and said, "Shall we?"

Hasis spiked his head up, "What? Where?" He whispered the last part.

"I assumed he already talked to you," she responded, tilting her head.
